I moved to England, where I started working at Goring Hall Hospital as a registered nurse in an elective surgery unit. I found colleagues who were very helpful in integrating me into the team. They were always extremely kind and supportive, especially when it came to adapting to new procedures and the bureaucracy of transitioning from an Italian hospital to an English one.Vitae Professionals supported me throughout the process of document translation, NMC registration, and job search. Hello everyone! I'm Giulia, and together with Alice, we started a few months ago as operating room nurses in Bordeaux, at the Tivoli Clinic. Although this is our first post-graduation work experience, with a bit of effort and curiosity, we’ve managed to integrate well.The operating room gives us the opportunity to learn new things every day, exploring different specialties: from orthopedics to gynecology, from urology to aesthetics.We would like to thank Eleonora and Daniela from Vitae Professionals, who supported us at every stage of the hiring process, from the application to the registration with the National Order of Nurses (ONI). I’ve always wanted to work in France, and with Vitae Professionals, I was able to make this dream come true. ​I was hired by Southampton General Hospital as a scrub nurse in the HPB (Hepatobiliary) specialty. This has always been the setting where I wanted to work since graduating, and this English hospital listened to and fulfilled my request to work in the operating room. I completed a 6-month trial period during which, while working, I learned how to perform as a scrub nurse. My colleagues closely supported and trained me until I was able to work completely independently, collaborating with my fellow scrub nurses!
